Orange Hype Dahlia Pot Tuber
Orange Hype Dahlia Pot Tuber
Orange Hype Dahlia Tuber – Iridescent Peachy-Orange Collarette
Orange Hype was hybridized by Jürgen Wagschal, a prominent German dahlia breeder. Soft peachy-orange outer petals surround a bright golden central disc, with a central layer of wavy, frilly petaloids ("twizzles") in shades of pink, yellow, and iridescent lavender — an ever-shifting, multi-tonal color palette unlike any other collarette dahlia.
Blooms measure 4 to 6 inches across, sitting on striking dark chocolate stems. The plant is quite vigorous, reaching heights of 4 to 6 feet. Unlike many open-centered collarette dahlias that drop petals quickly, Orange Hype has an exceptionally sturdy build and an excellent 5-day vase life, and also functions as a fantastic seed parent for future hybridizing.
