Lava Glow Dahlia Tuber

Lava Glow was hybridized by prominent breeder Peter Komen in the Netherlands, quickly gaining a reputation as one of the largest anemone-form dahlias on the market. Massive, oversized blooms reach 6 to 7 inches in diameter — nearly twice the size of traditional anemone varieties like 'Totally Tangerine' — with fiery, molten peachy-orange and coral recurved outer petals surrounding a densely tufted, fluffy double center that glows with rich apricot, orange-yellow, and gold tones.

The plant grows to a well-balanced height of 3 to 4 feet, producing prolific blooms held aloft by exceptionally strong, dark stems that make it a favorite for both pollinators and cutting gardens.
