Thicket's POG Dahlia Tuber

Thicket's POG is a highly anticipated new dahlia variety from The Thicket on Hood Canal, part of their Spring 2026 new releases. Named after the tropical POG juice blend (Passion fruit, Orange, Guava), this vibrant, multi-toned dahlia showcases juicy pineapple, orange, and guava colors that lighten to a golden hue as the days shorten — a beautiful match for fall decor. Bred from seed parent Bloomquist Mojo with a pollen parent chosen by the farm's happy wild pollinators, Thicket's POG inherited excellent genetics for vigor and health.

Sturdy plants reach about 4 feet tall and hold themselves up without staking, with strong, long dark stems that snap cleanly to harvest without tools. Solid bloom attachment and lots of petals mean the pollen center stays hidden longer, and the blooms are excellent in a vase, blending beautifully with all flowers. An early bloomer that keeps going all season long, cutting the flowers only encourages it to produce more.
