Lee's Flamingle Dahlia Tuber – Cool-Toned Pink Waterlily
Lee's Flamingle (2026), hybridized by Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens, is a cool-toned, light pink waterlily-form dahlia with 4" blooms and yellow at the base of the petals — a subtle glow most pink dahlias have, whether you notice it or not. Truly impressive vase life makes this a great choice for adding whimsy to just about any floral design. Lee shares that her local garden club ladies fight over this one when she brings them buckets of dahlias to work with.
4' tall plants cover themselves with flowers on dark, wiry stems. Lee's Flamingle can be cut at a much earlier bloom stage and will still open beautifully — a real bonus for cutting gardens. One interesting distinction of this variety is the presence of several sets of bracteoles below the buds. A true Goldenrod Gardens farm favorite!
